The Whittier family owns and operates two facilities. Every operation is conducted in-house allowing for complete control over all phases of manufacturing and quality. Great care and attention is taken with the old world construction details; English dovetail drawers, mortise and tenon joinery and fitted backs ensure structural strength and stability. Function is equally important. Features like full extension metal ball bearing drawer slides provide smooth and effortless access to spacious drawers. Storage is a key feature of Whittier Wood Furniture. Safety is also a priority. Chests and dressers comply with the American Standards Testing & Materials (ASTM) voluntary tip-over safety standards.
